Firefox 4 beta 6 download

  Mozilla has released beta 6 of Firefox 4 just a week after beta 5. I think that we are now getting close to a release candidate.

According to the Mozilla blog, this is an update to resolve the following issues:

  • A stability issue on Windows
  • An issue with plug-ins on Mac OS X which made it difficult for users to type in some web pages, and showed white boxes over other web pages.

Internet Explorer 9(IE 9) Download

  Microsoft unveiled its vision of the future of the Web browser on Wednesday at an event called the “Beauty of the Web” in San Francisco on Sept 15.

  IE9 beta is now available in 33 languages worldwide for download. With a simple user interface that masks new technical muscle and all-around fast performance, the new browser is designed to take a backseat and bring forward the full beauty of the websites and applications people care about, says Dean Hachamovitch, Microsoft’s corporate vice president for Internet Explorer.

  Yesterday, Skype released an update for Windows. For those who don’t know what is Skype then “Skype is software for calling other people on their computers or phones.”

  The second beta of Skype 5.0 brings a number of changes both outside and in – most importantly, you can now make group video calls with up to 10 people. It has fresh new look, as well as increased stability and better quality when making group video calls.

  Does your windows machine take long to boot up? You’ve tried so many softwares, registry hacks, every bit of help available all over the net regarding system boot but still not happy. So here is another application  called Soluto, an anti-frustration software.

   The way the application works is simple. It installs, then it asks you to reboot and then it watches your boot time and tells you what’s consuming majority of time.
