Use your Digital Camera as a Scanner

Till now you are using your digital camera only for clicking photos, have you ever thought of using it as a scanner ? May be once or twice you thought of it but don’t know is it possible or not. Now you don’t have to think more about it because you can use your camera as a scanner with a help of great software called Snapter.

Snapter allows you to use digital camera as your mobile scanner to scan documents (contracts, business cards, receipts). Just snap pictures and Snapter will do the rest. It will crop, correct the perspective, adjust the lighting automatically and even output to PDF file.

There is a downside of using Snapter, one has to be very particular in how to snap images of what you wish to "scan". For example, there needs to be a fairly uniform background color on which the image rests. The top and bottom borders of the image must be fairly even and free of any obstructions. One should also pay attention to lighting and keeping the camera very still when snapping photos of the images. If you do not follow the instructions carefully, you may find yourself having to re-take the photos.

Snapter has a 14 day free trial but actually it goes by how many times you open it rather than by days. After using it for 14 days or times, you can continue using it for free however, a light watermark reading "Snapter" will appear on your images.

You can get the free license code worth $49 to unlock your Snapter but you have to  share it with your 20 friends once they tried it, they (software author’s) will send a registration code to unlock the software to your email.

Try it and share your views with us via comments 🙂
